Χαρούπι: Τα χαρούπια είναι γλυκά, εύγεστα και θρεπτικά. Περιέχουν 50% σάκχαρο εκ των οποίων το 30% είναι σταφυλοσάκχαρο, 10% πρωτεΐνη και 6% λίπος. Συμπεριλαμβάνονται βιταμίνες της Β ομάδας που χαρίζουν ενέργεια και ευεξία. Παράλληλα συμβάλουν σημαντικά στη συνολική υγεία των κυττάρων, των οστών, των μυών και του νευρικού συστήματος. Επίσης το χαρούπι περιλαμβάνει καροτίνη Β, κάλιο, μαγνήσιο, ασβέστιο, φώσφορο και πολλά ιχνοστοιχεία. Τέλος, έχει θετικά αποτελέσματα στα επίπεδα γλυκόζης στο αίμα.
